It was an untitled post with no content.
Just this picture.
So I thought I would make some content for it.
Today is the last day of March.
Every month keeps going by faster and faster.
I think it's safe to say that March 2014 has been my favourite month as a wife.
The more I learn about Alex, the more I love him.
The more we reveal our past, the more I realize how it was no coincidence we married each other.
The more he tells me I'm beautiful, the more I believe him.
The more time we spend together, the more I become the person I am supposed to be.
Needless to say, I can't wait for April.
I haven't blogged in 2 weeks, and I really don't have an explanation.
Life has been great, I still spend 3 nights a week alone, which sucks, but I turned to watching childhood movies instead of write on my blog.
I love that I don't have a schedule, I just write when I want to, and for the past 2 weeks I haven't wanted to.
Now I'm not saying I all of a sudden hate blogging and am no longer doing it.
Far from it.
I just come and go as I choose because I can.
Sorry if that sounds harsh, it's not suppose to, it's just how I feel :)
So I thought it was about time I announce who one the giveaway.
You remember, way back in my last post?
And the winner is.....
I will be sending you an email with the details.
I just wanted to thank you all for your support :)
You're all the best!
It all started when I was in elementary school.
My best friend and I would spend hours and hours just drawing and talking.
Then I stopped.
The thing is I am my own worst critique.
Certain talents or hobbies I have I feel I could do better, but I can't so I stop. (wow how many times can you put "I" in a sentence.)
It's a bad habit and I'm trying so hard to quit.
That's why in November I started to draw again.
What happened was I wanted to get Adam and Alicia a self portrait for Christmas, and I had a distinct look I wanted.
I searched on Etsy for ever and ever but I didn't find the style I was looking for.
So... I decided to give it a go and make it myself.
And I did.
If you want to view the finished portrait, it's right over here.
Now the portrait above is another story.
Back when I posted the portrait I did during Christmas time I got a comment by a lovely blogger.
The lovely blogger I am talking about it Steph Hammer.
Chances are you have already read her blog, and if you haven't hop on over.
Trust me, it's the bomb.
She is absolutely incredible and I am still flabbergasted that she asked me to draw a portrait for her.
So here's more exciting news.
I've decided to draw a portrait for free for one of you!
All you have to do is follow my blog on bloglovin (over here), and leave a comment.
I will choose the winner on March 27th.
Also I have another giveaway coming up on Monday!
So come back then to find out what it is :)
This weekend our family celebrated Norah's 2nd birthday.
It's crazy to think that this little baby is turning into a little girl.
With her sweet voice, and her entertaining sentence structure.
There's nothing sweeter than hearing say my name.
It was a great day with family.
And a great start to a great weekend.
It was always a tradition in our family to participate in Pancake Tuesday.
I am hands down continuing that tradition.
This year I made some coconut pancakes.
I slightly tweaked this recipe to make it a tad healthier.
But dang they are tasty!
Also I am convinced that my neighbours think an 8 year old lives in our apartment.
Been blaring the Frozen soundtrack all evening.
And I am 100% not ashamed.
